Technology
In addition to Bluetooth technology, PlasmaTech's products are now compatible with ZIGBEE protocols as well as 802.15.4, which have lower power requirements. By using sensors, ZIGBEE and 802.15.4 networks can add several years to battery life by remaining in deep sleep mode until activated, while other networks such as Bluetooth or WIFI operated devices can maintain only a few days of battery power without being recharged or replaced.
Access Control Solutions, Card Readers and Transmitters provide the ability to control entry to and exit from areas of a business, home, government building or anywhere the highest security protocols are needed.The 2400-DK module with builtin card reader mounts to a virtually any door to control access remotely and prevent tampering.
Wireless Modems and Voice/Data Products include the 232-IP, available in Bluetooth, 900 MHz, 2.4 GHZ and Zigbee/802.15.4 radios, provides a secure wireless connection to Ethernet for devices such as ATM machines, data collection devices, CNC controllers, telecommunications equipment, data display devices, security alarms and access control devices, and handheld instruments. Other Bluetooth devices, like PDAs and cell phones, can easily be linked to provide a total information and communication system.
